Stunning Underwater Polaroid Nudes by Ian & Erick Regnard

Ian and Erick Regnard are two Australian brothers who have created a stunning series of underwater nudes. What makes the images even more remarkable is that they shot the series on large format 4x5 Polaroid film. In 2010 one of their underwater Polaroid nudes won them International Photographer of the year in the "Special Category". I think it was well deserved. I especially love the images of the dancing stingrays with nude model - Simply stunning! Limited edition prints are available here.

1000 Poses by model Coco Rocha and Photographer Steven Sebring

In a new book, “Study of Pose,” which includes an introduction by Jean Paul Gaultier, Sebring has shot the adroit Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha, known as the “Queen of Pose,” in 1,000 different positions. Sebring captured each of Rocha’s postures — from the sultry stance of a rock star to the pointed pirouette of a prima ballerina — using a setup he calls "the Rig", which consists of 100 cameras arranged in a circle that allows for a 360-degree view of each moment. Photographer Profile ~ Raymond Depardon

Raymond Depardon, born in France in 1942, began taking photographs on his family farm in Garet at the age of 12. Apprenticed to a photographer-optician in Villefranche-sur-Saône, he left for Paris in 1958 He joined the Dalmas agency in Paris in 1960 as a reporter, and in 1966 he co-founded the Gamma agency, reporting from all over the world. In 1978 Depardon joined Magnum and continued his reportage work.
Depardon has made eighteen feature-length films and published forty-seven books.

Manhattan Out
Manhattan Out was created in the winter of 1980-81. Raymond Depardon had accompanied a friend to New York and spent his days wandering the big apple. New York or rather New Yorkers impressed him greatly. He often photographed without aiming, the camera slung over his belly. He shot 2 or 3 rolls of film a day for several weeks. It was not until 27 years later that Depardon managed to finally look at these pictures which are a time capsule of life as it was in NYC circa 1980.
