One year ago, South African photographer Anton Hammerl was killed in Libya, leaving behind a wife and three children. Now, legendary photojournalists are coming together to raise funds for Hammerl’s family in an unprecedented print auction. [via British Journal of Photography]
The auction is sponsored by Reporters Without Borders, and bidding will take place on May 15 in New York or online.The funds raised will go to help secure the future of Anton’s three children, 11 year-old Aurora, 7 year-old Neo, and 6 month-old baby Hiro.
