Hold Your Breath and Open Your Eyes – For its March issue, Vogue Italia features designer looks from eyewear producer Marchon. Photographer Douglas Friedman (Bernstein Andriulli) captures eyewear styles from labels such as Jil Sander, Emilio Pucci and Chloe paired with looks from their respective spring ready-to-wear collections.
The Vogue Italia July 2012 Collections main editorial shot by Steven Meisel, featuring the Fall/Winter 2012/2013 collections is one of the best in recent memory.
Starring Vanessa Axente, Julia Nobis, Erjona Ala, Mackenzie Drazan, Lida Fox and Elena Bartels on the three-page cover –all wearing Gucci– with Ros Georgiou, Hedvig Palm and Lula Österdahl in the rest of the shoot, the models managed to pull of some very unique poses and positions in images that are distinctly Meisel . Immaculate styling by Karl Templer and peculiar yet ingenious set designs by Mary Howard complete this winning editorial spread.
